SYNOPSIS:
"The Harpist" is a musical comedy that pulls its inspiration from the style of filmmaker Jim Jarmusch, the rhythm of the cult film Blues Brothers, and the epic legend of musician Robert Johnson. In the story, a young blues musician has sold his soul to the devil to become the best harmonica player the world has ever seen. But one must always watch his step when he is involved in any type of fiendish bargain with the underworld. "The Harpist" is packed with smoky blues clubs, crazy bandmates, foot chases across the Boston skyline, an angry girlfriend, a rockin' blues soundtrack, and loads of laughs.
